All the textures were either built from scratch or modified from the smart materials in Substance Painter. No image textures were used.
If you look closely, you'll see the Archaeopteryx skeleton vinyl record, hourglass design in the gears, and the golden low relief sculptures that represent different moments in time, from fossils, cave paintings to space shuttles.
Translation of the runes around the machine:
Through the harmonious waves of sound and music, the passage to the past and future unfolds, inviting the listener to transverse to the timeless realms of history. Yet, tread carefully, for the echoes of time may reveal more than one seeks
